TheMultipatch To Collada (Conversion) geoprocessing tool converts one or more multipatch features into a collection of .dae files and referenced texture image files in an output folder. This tool also exports aKeyhole Markup Language (.kml) file, which can be viewed within ArcGlobe through use of the KML Toolbar, or directly imported into CityEngine. VRML models can also be exported from ArcScene through the 3D exporting options, but this a dated format and has limited scalability.

It is important to note that ArcScene and ArcGIS Pro are 3D GIS applications and the majority of 3D modeling formats only write out static models that oftentimes do not store X,Y, or Z coordinate information. These are imported as static shapes originating at 0,0 in Cartesian coordinate space.
