  HowTo:  Change the name of a feature service

【问题描述】
ArcGIS does not provide any tool to change the name of a feature service. However, the name of the feature service can be changed by updating the schema of the layer in the feature service.

The instructions provided describe how to change the name of a feature service.

    Ensure the feature service is not shared publicly before proceeding with the instructions below.



    1. Log in to www.arcgis.com using an ArcGIS Online organizational account.
    2. Click on My Content, and navigate to the intended feature service.
    3. Click the drop-down arrow next to the feature service name, and select 'View item details'.
    4. In the item details page of the feature service, click the hyperlink under Layers. This opens the ArcGIS REST Services Directory page.
    5. Modify the URL to mirror the URL displayed below by appending "admin" to the end of the URL after deleting the rest of the URL from the service. http://services.arcgis.com/xxxx/arcgis/admin Press Enter to access the new page.
    6. Click Services to view all feature services in the organization.
    7. Click the service name.
    8. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Update Definition.
    9. Search for the parameter called "name" (press "Ctrl" and "F" to search for the "name"). Change the name of the feature service as desired.
    10. Click Update Service Definition.
    11. Return to the My Content page, and open the feature service in a new web map. The name of the feature service is updated.
