Unable to change capitalization when editing fields in ArcGIS Pro

When changing field names in ArcGIS Pro, the changes are not saved if capitalization is the only change made.
EXAMPLE:
Initial field name: fieldone
Desired field name: FieldOne

A geodatabase does not recognize the difference between case type. Although there is a difference between 'FeatureLayer' and 'FEATURELAYER', it is read the same way in the table.

When making capitalization changes in field names in ArcGIS Pro, an additional character change needs to be made for capitalization to be maintained. The pattern required to resolve this is outlined below:
