Problem: 不能在ArcCatalog里显示Digital Charts of the World(DCW) coverages

原因： DCW coverage格式的数据是以7.0之前的coverage格式存储的。ArcGIS Desktop不支持这种格式。
解决方法：
将DCW coverage转到ArcGIS Desktop支持的7.0 coverage格式。ArcInfo Workstation或ArcView GIS可以实现这种转换。 在ArcInfo Workstation里，使用CONVERTWORKSPACE命令，可以将7.0之前版本的数据转到7.0版本。 CONVERTWORKSPACE <PRE-7.0 | NEW> {workspace} 参数 < PRE-7.0 | NEW> -指明输出文件名 PRE-7.0 -7.0版本之前的工作空间文件格式 NEW –新的工作空间文件格式 {workspace} – 指明在何处进行转数据，默认的是当前文件夹 在ArcView GIS 3.x里，显示coverage features，单击“Theme”>“Convert to Shapefile to convert each coverage feature class into a shapefile”。输出的shapefile就能在ArcGIS Desktop中使用。
