错误信息
This error message may be received when making a database connection to an enterprise geodatabase where the license has expired.

错误原因
If the user account making the database connection is not an administrative account with necessary permissions, the above error message is received suggesting that the geodatabase administrator be contacted. This means that the user within the 'Connection Properties' does not have the authority within the geodatabase to update the license and the geodatabase administrator must be contacted.

解决方案
Ensure that the user account making the 'Database connection' has the necessary permissions to administer the geodatabase. After establishing the connection with the geodatabase administrator account, a dialog box displays to update the license file within the geodatabase. Once prompted, provide the valid KEYCODES/authorization file to update the geodatabase.

• Please see the Related Information links below for more information on this topic.

The 'Update ArcGIS Server License' tool is intended for updating enterprise level licenses. Workgroup geodatabases cannot be updated because workgroup licenses are not valid input for the authorization file parameter. For these instructions, please see the article below, 'Update an Educational Site License or EDN license in a workgroup geodatabase'.
