CityEngine can export graphs (street networks), shapes (such as lots or street shapes), and models (such as buildings) to a number of different formats. Given different license levels of the software, the options to export models vary.

The Export options available in CityEngine 2013.1 Advanced license are:

• Script Based Export(Python)
• Keyhole Markup Language (KML)
• COLLADA
• Autodesk FBX
• Wavefront OBJ
• Esri FileGDB
• E-On Software Vue
