Is it possible to use an Excel table with place names in an address locator?

Yes. It is possible to use an Excel table as a place-name alias table in an address locator. The place-name alias is used for locations, such as the name of a school, hospital, or other landmarks.
Alias fields and address fields must be present in the Excel table for it to be used in an address locator.
