【问题描述】
Business Analyst 10.1 2012 Data can be installed side-by-side with the previous 2011 Data. The option to retain the 2011 Data is presented during the install of 2012 Data. This article describes the steps to uninstall 2011 Data after installing 2012 Data.


Do not attempt to uninstall Business Analyst 10.1 2011 Data from the Windows Control Panel. This may cause corruption with Business Analyst if the 2012 Data has been installed.

    These steps show how to use the Business Analyst 10.1 2012 Data installation media to uninstall the 2011 Data.


    1. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory where the Business analyst 10.1 2012 Data installation media is saved. This can either be where the ISO files were saved or by inserting media to a drive on the system. Open the folder named BAPreinstall.
    2. Launch the BAPreinstall.exe file in the BAPreinstall folder. This opens the Business Analyst installation wizard.
    3. In the installation wizard only one option should appear, 2011 Data Options. Click the Start button.
    4. A prompt appears asking to choose whether to retain or uninstall 2011 Data. Select Uninstall 2011 Data and click OK.
