问题描述
The (32-bit) Oracle Instant Client can be used with ArcGIS Desktop (versions 10.1 and above) to make both Database Authentication and Operating System Authentication connections to Oracle Enterprise geodatabases and to Oracle Spatial databases. The steps below describe how to configure this.

The Oracle External Authentication user must already exist in the Oracle instance prior to making the Operating System Authentication connection.

The 'OPS$' prefix is required when creating the Oracle External Authentication user if the 'os_authent_prefix' initialization parameter has a value of 'OPS$' in the Oracle instance. Here is a SQL sample of how to create this user:
