Problem: One or more of the selected objects does not support moving edits to base. This option is not available

错误信息： 当在ArcCatalog软件中注册版本时，提示如下错误："One or more of the selected objects does not support moving edits to base. This option is not available."
原因： 这个错误信息有可能是由以下几种情况引起的 1：用户在ArcGIS Desktop9.2、9.3或者9.3.1客户端注册版本，但是这些数据是存储在ArcSDE9.1或者更早版本的Geodatabase中，在注册版本上有一个选项为"move edits to base"，该选项是从ArcGIS9.2才有的，所以说在9.1的Geodatabase中是不可能使用的 2：数据集包含拓扑、几何网络、Terrain注册版本时，这些Geodatabase对象要求的是复杂版本模型，所以是不支持注册版本中勾选”move edits to base“的 3：数据集在注册版本的时候没有勾选”move edits to base“选项，但是新的要素类加载到该数据集中，新要素类注册版本也没有勾选该选项，如果要编辑新的要素类，这个数据集必须注册为版本，因为数据集中包含的所有的要素类都必须统一它的版本即便，所以说选择”move edits to base“是不可用的。

解决方法： 针对每一种情况得到相应的解决方案 1：只能在ArcSDE9.2以上的软件使用”move edits to base “可选项 2：如果数据集包含拓扑、几何网络、terrain 是不支持勾选"move edits to base"的 3：先反注册数据集版本，然后在对整个数据集进行注册这时候可以可选”move edits to base“选项
