BUG描述
Using the Parcel Editor's join functionality causes control point locations to be altered.

BUG原因
Control point changes can only occur if the initial release of ArcGIS 10.3 for Desktop Parcel Fabric General Maintenance Patch, dated 04-22-2015, has been installed. If the fabric data is stored in a projection that is not in meters, or is not in a geographic coordinate system, and if the join command is used to link a fabric parcel point directly to a control point.

Until there is an opportunity to install the updated patch
ArcGIS 10.3 for Desktop Parcel Fabric General Maintenance Patch, the problem can be avoided by setting the data frame projection to a metric equivalent of the original non-metric one. For example, changing:

'NAD_1983_StatePlane_Michigan_South_FIPS_2113(IntFeet)'

to the metric equivalent of:

'NAD_1983_StatePlane_Michigan_South_FIPS_2113'

This does not impact the units that have been set on the fabric plans for editing and entering distances for parcels, however for adding new control point coordinates, it is necessary to convert to metric for the entered coordinates, or else use the original non-metric map document with a data frame for the specific workflow of adding control points.

  1. Open ArcMap and make sure that an edit session is not in progress.
  2. In the table of contents, right-click the data frame, the top node that usually has the name 'Layers', and click Properties.
  3. Click on the Coordinate System tab, and find the metric equivalent of the current non-metric projection.
  4. Click OK, and then continue with the editing workflows.
