问题描述
After configuring an ArcGIS Server search service for use in ArcMap, it is important to ensure the entire organization has the same enterprise search configured on each machine. To avoid having to reconfigure each machine manually, there is a .cfg file that can be copied to these machines.

This can be useful when a Citrix-based access point for Desktop users is implemented and users need the same enterprise search configured.

解决方案
  1. Configure a search service for use in ArcMap. See ArcGIS Web Help: Search services for more information.
  2. Navigate to the folder path below.
    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\ESRI\Desktop10.3\ArcCatalog\SearchIndex\Configs\
  3. After establishing a search service on the local machine, copy the 'SearchOptions.cfg' file from the folder location above, and copy this file to the desired target machines. Delete the older file.
