Bug:  Unable to print secured services with web-tier authentication

Bug Id: NIM086940
Software:
ArcGIS for Server 10.1, 10.2
Platforms:
Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2012, Server 2008 R2

BUG描述
When ArcGIS for Server security is configured to use web-tier authentication, the default PrintingTools geoprocessing service fails to print secured services. A custom print service created based on the
help documentation to allow printing of secured services also fails.

BUG原因
With web-tier authentication enabled, the PrintingTools or custom printing geoprocessing service tries to access the secured services using the credentials of the user running the 'ArcGIS Server' Windows service. By default, this is the local 'arcgis' user, which is not accessible through Active Directory and cannot be added to a domain group.

解决方案
A domain 'arcgis' account must be created to run the ArcGIS Server Windows service. If roles are being managed through LDAP or Active Directory, this domain account must be added to a group that has access to the secured services being printed. If ArcGIS Server built-in roles are being used, this new domain account can be added to the appropriate roles through Server Manager.

To configure the ArcGIS Server Windows service to use this domain account, click Start > All Programs > ArcGIS > ArcGIS 10.2 for Server > Configure ArcGIS Server Account and input the username and password for the domain account.

This automatically adjusts the permissions needed by ArcGIS for Server to use this account.
